Did you know that in cultural traditions the number nine symbolises spiritual wisdom and new beginnings? Well, this is the start of season nine of The Cocktail Lovers podcast, so we’ve ticked the new beginnings side of things and as for spiritual wisdom? We’ve got that in spades.
Over the next few weeks we’ll be talking to some of the fabulous people we’ve met up with during our recent travels but this episode begins, as always with our chosen products: which are Cointreau Citrus Series and Be!Gin, a gin with flowers at its heart.

Our book is spiritual wisdom personified, it’s Hyper Drinks, the debut book from Angelos Bafas aka Mr Ungarnished and for another take on all things super spirited, we check in on Gento Torigato at his fab new bar Waltz.
And for our first interview of the season we’re talking to Rodrigo Urraca, Marcos Di Battista and Eric Van Beek, the dream team behind Handshake Bar in Mexico City. They talk to us about the highs, lows and all the bits in between on making it to numbero uno on the World’s 50 Best Bars list, as well as taking the top slot on the North America’s 50 Best Bars List for the second consecutive year.
