Now here’s something we can totally get our heads round in the lead up to Christmas: winter cocktails on the terrace at fashion and foodie mecca Harvey Nichols.
Really, what could be better? After crossing off all the gifts on your shopping list (and picking up a few well-earned designer and quality booze treats for yourself, obvs), head up to the Fifth Floor and succumb to the treasures of the Belvedere RED Terrace.
It certainly feels Christmassy. The chic outdoor space has been dressed to resemble the special edition Belvedere RED bottle – think snowcapped (okay, white) branches, twinkly fairy lights and just enough red for Santa to feel truly at home.
The seven specially devised cocktails on the menu are real crowd-pleasers, ranging from subtly reworked classics such as the Inc(RED)ible Cosmo (Belvedere RED vodka, cranberry juice, lemon and elderflower) and the Inc(RED)ible Martini, (Belvedere RED vodka, Lillet Rouge and lavender bitters), through to warmed drinks like the RED Celebration Punch (Belvedere RED vodka, Harvey Nichols hibiscus tea, raspberry purée, fresh ginger, honey and spices).
Combine your drink with a canape platter, or better still, make it a mini party and book the Belvedere Palace Booth. The package includes two cocktails, one plate of canapes, a mini cocktail masterclass plus a £20 discounted taxi ride courtesy of Uber cars.
