
There are lots of juicy boozy colours on the catwalk this season but October is time to think and drink pink. Try our pick of the best rose-tinted cocktails created for Breast Cancer Awareness Month…

Singapore Sling
30ml Bombay Sapphire
10ml Benedictine
10 ml cherry brandy
10 ml orange triple sec
10 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
5 ml grenadine
100 ml freshly pressed pineapple juice
4 dashes Angostura bitters
Method:
Assemble all ingredients in the shaker with ice. Shake and double strain into a sling glass filled with ice cubes and garnish.
Alizé Ginger Rose
50ml Alizé Rose
Ginger ale
Method:
Pour Alizé Rose into rocks glass and top with ginger ale. Garnich with a raspberry or slice of lime.

Raspberry Blush
50ml Hendricks Gin
5 raspberries
3 lime wedges
15ml Belvoir Fruit Farms’ Raspberry & Rose Cordial
75ml lychee juice
Method:
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker and shake with plenty of ice. Strain into a hi-ball glass over fresh cubed ice and garnish with a lychee and raspberry on a stick.
Berryoska Strawberry
50ml Russian Standard Vodka
4-6 strawberries
Juice of half a lime
3 tsp sugar
Crushed ice
Method:
In a tumbler, muddle the lime juice, sugar and strawberries to create a paste. Top the glass up with crushed ice. Add vodka and stir well. Top with extra crushed ice and garnish with a sliced strawberry.
Juicy Suzy
50ml Russian Standard Vodka
300g watermelon flesh
10ml lime juice
2 tsp sugar cane sugar
Method:
Shake ingredients vigorously over ice. Double-strain and pour into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a wedge of watermelon.

Valentine Warner’s Blackberry & apple champagne cocktail
Serves 6
300g blackberries
150 caster sugar
6 T apple brandy
1 bottle of chilled prosecco
Few extra blackberries to serve, optional
Method:
Put the sugar and blackberries in a pan with just a dash of water (two tablespoons). Cook them until they have totally collapsed on a fairly rapid simmer for about six minutes or until syrupy. Strain the syrup into a small jug and chill. Discard the fruit. Pour the syrup between the six glasses adding one T of the brandy to each. Top up with the prosecco and add a blackberry to each glass.

Mali-Cosmo
35ml Malibu Rum
25ml Absolut Vodka
60ml cranberry juice
10ml lime cordial or lime juice
Method:
Shake all the ingredients together and pour into a Martini glass without ice. Garnish with a piece of lemon or orange
