“I like the idea of someone who looks at the world differently. Steve jobs changed the whole perspective of the technology market. He was an unconventional leader who was kicked out of his own company but went on to great success. Today so many people on the planet have an owned one of his products.
There’s something clean and perfect about his designs. When everyone else was just concentrating on what computers did he wanted to create an experience. I wanted my cocktail to be simple and elegant like his creations. The look of the drink I wanted to reflect his products, very clean, even the choice of the glass has a feeling like his products. I also wanted to make the link that it was actually his product that allowed me to take part in the competition. Without an iPhone I couldn’t have filmed the making of my drink to enter.”

10ml Tio Pepe Fino sherry
10ml Aperol
2 dashes Bittermens Boston Bittahs
Ingredients
Stir all ingredients over ice and strain into a coupe glass. Squeeze grapefruit peel over drink and discard.
