Thank you to everyone who came along to our 10th issue bash last week – so much love in one room must surely be illegal. And as for our sponsors, well, talk about generous, each and every one of them went above and beyond to make sure the event was a huge success.
Firstly, a massive shout out to Hannah and Jules at The Apartment at Hoxton Shoreditch – quite possibly the coolest venue for a party in London, and also to Travis from TBone Productions for setting the scene with his smooth grooves. Our guests enjoyed enjoyed delicious luxury Daiquiris courtesy of Angostura 1919 rum, excellent HOBO Czech craft beers (in hipster cans) from Cask Liquid Marketing and a rather spiffing selection of wines specially chosen for the night by Laithwaites wine buyer Beth Willard who was also on hand to guide them through the four expressions. Last but by no means least, a massive thank you (and a curtsey from Ms S and a respectful nod from Mr G) goes to Joe McCanta, Grey Goose Vodka Global Brand Ambassador. Not only did he supply his tip-top vodka for the event but he created two bespoke cocktails for us as well (see recipes below.)

2 dashes of Orange Bitters
Method:
Stir ingredients over ice and strain into a coupette over great quality cocktail onions.
Ms. S cocktail
40ml Grey Goose Vodka
50ml fresh pink grapefruit juice
25ml fresh blood orange juice
15 ml Noilly Ambré
Method:
Build ingredients over cubed ice. Garnish with a blood orange slice.
