It’s someone’s birthday…

Hurrah, it’s King Edward VII’s 171st birthday on Friday. We’ll be toasting him with The King’s Ginger Liqueur , specifically created for His Majesty in 1903 by Berry Bros. & Rudd.

Even better, we’ll be doing so with the fab folk at The King’s Ginger at a very special dinner at Rules tonight. Not only is it the oldest restaurant in the UK but it’s where the king naughtily ‘entertained’ the actress Lily Langtry. As King Edward VII and his entourage will also be in attendance, it’s guaranteed to be lots of fun.
