We’ll be kicking off the Film Noir season on 6th November with Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway at their absolute best in Roman Polanski’s Chinatown.
Take your seat in the Picture Room, enjoy a specially created Rittenhouse 100 cocktail or two and check out what a panel of Guardian and Observer critics cited as the greatest film ever made.
The Picture Room at MegaroThe Guardian’s film critic, Peter Bradshaw, said: “Chinatown is such a powerful piece of myth-making, a brilliant evocation of Los Angeles as a spiritual desert.” The Observer’s Philip French considers it a movie of “near perfection.”
This will be an intimate evening with only 14 seats available. Entry will normally be priced at £12 (£15 on the door) but we’re offering free tickets, plus complimentary popcorn for the first evening, you just pay for the cocktails – trust us, they’re aces.
