Scent, seduction and cocktails for Valentine’s Day

Valentines schmalentines. Forget schmaltzy roses and bland dinner for twos and join us for an evening of scent and out-and-out seduction instead…

Nothing kinky mind, we’re not talking indecent proposals. Au contraire, the idea is this: whether you’re sharing February 14th with your amore or celebrating the fact that you’re single, come along to our favourite perfumery, Les Senteurs where we’ll be co-hosting a fun-filled evening designed to reawaken your senses.

The delightful and knowledgeable James Craven will take the lead on the fragrance front, guiding you through a carefully edited scent journey that winds its way through three themes, starting at ‘flirty’ working its way through to ‘temptress’ before venturing along to downright ‘naughty’.

We’ll be serving up mini cocktails to complement the luscious perfumes highlighted on the evening. These include Caron’s Narcisse Noir, a daring and exotic blend of daffodil, ambergris, musk and sandlewood; the seductive tuberose-rich Carnal Flower by Frederic Malle and the heady, post-coital aroma of jasmine, hay, tobacco, cedar and musk in Jasmine & Cigarettes by Antoine Maisondieu.

Expect fascinating tales, scents to savour and drinks to enjoy, making for a Valentine’s date with a difference. All of the selected perfumes can be purchased on the night and if you like, you can have a go at creating your own cocktail so you can vamp it up at home.

Valentine Scent Seduction takes place at the super-chic Les Senteurs boutique on 14 February, from 6.30pm-8.30pm. Tickets cost £25 per person; £45 for two people booking together and includes Champagne on arrival, nibbles, cocktails and goody bag.
