The Chivas Masters UK Final is here. Having come through tough heats around the UK our eight finalists convene today, 11.00 in the Punch Room at the exceptionally elegant Edition in London. The prize? A trip to New York to represent the UK in The Chivas Masters Global Final.
Kicking off some two months ago we’ve visited Bristol, Oxford, Manchester, Edinburgh and London as we’ve witnessed bartenders from all around the UK demonstrating their cocktail creativity. The standard throughout has been exceptional, so the eight finalists really have earned their places in today’s UK Final.
As in their previous heats the bartenders have to produce four original cocktails, each featuring Chivas and the key part played by this unique liquid in classic periods in cocktail culture history: The Classic Age, The Post-War Boom, The Disco Years and The Age of Revivalism.
