Vodka, coffee and a touch of spice – we can’t think of a tastier way to see in the New Year. Try these delicious recipes from Grey Goose Vodka.
Grey Goose Café Glacé
30ml chilled Grey Goose vodka
20ml chilled Crème de Cacao – both combined into one shot
30ml fresh espresso – served in a shot
1 bowl of finest quality vanilla ice cream (or substitute other flavours such as pistachio or chocolate)
Method:
Pour both shots over the ice cream tableside and sprinkle with a touch of fleur de sel. Serve immediately with deep spoon and a metal, glass or wheat straw.
Grey Goose Café Epices
(Hot coffee cocktail)
30ml Grey Goose vodka (or Grey Goose La Poire or Grey Goose La Vanille market dependent)
20ml Benedictine
10ml grade A maple syrup infused with cinnamon (place 1 cinnamon stick in 250ml bottle of Grade A maple syrup overnight)
150ml of pour-over Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee
Method:
Very carefully warm all ingredients preferably in a bain-marie until 85 degrees. Serve in a double-walled coffee mug and garnish with a single whole star anise.
Grey Goose Espresso D’Hiver
(Winter Twist on Espresso Martini)
50ml Grey Goose vodka (or Grey Goose La Vanille)
30ml Espresso
20ml spiced mulled wine syrup For the mulled wine syrup add in 1 (200 grams) part sugar to 2 parts
(400ml) or about half a bottle of good quality French Bordeaux,
1 squeeze and zest of lime wedge and a squeeze and zest of orange wedge along with 2 whole cloves, ½ cinnamon stick, a few allspice pods, small grating of nutmeg, 1 star anise, 2 pinches of fleur de sel. Heat for 15 mins to reduce. Strain and keep in a sealed container.
150 ml of pour-over Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee
Method:
Shake all ingredients over ice. Strain into a Martini glass and garnish with a few cloves pushed through and orange zest.
Grey Goose La Vanille Espresso Martini
45ml Grey Goose La Vanille
30ml single origin espresso
20ml part of coffee liqueur
Pinch of Fleur De Sel
For garnish either 3 coffee beans or cut 1 x fresh vanilla bean in half and with a slit at the base perch onto the rim of the glass.
Method:
Add all ingredients to a shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a Martini glass and garnish.
