…about the fabulous Vine Lease Scheme at Chapel Down. So quick as a flash we signed up and treated ourselves to five vines. We missed the harvest in September but we did make it along to the wine-tasting lunch yesterday where we got to inspect our vines and taste what they actually produced.

And we were chuffed to bits with the result. Forget the fact that it’ll probably be two years or so before we really enjoy our six bottles to best effect, this is our wine, made from our vines and no other wine bears the Mr G & Ms S Special Blend 2008 label. So there.
