Whether you’re planning to watch the tennis on your own or with a few friends, you’ll need a nice, refreshing cocktail to cool you down. Here are a few fruity concoctions to try at home…
Umpire’s Call
15ml Monin Cucumber syrup
10ml Monin Green Apple syrup
40ml rum
3 pieces of lime
8 mint leaves
Method:
Pour fruit into a glass and muddle with the syrups. Fill glass with ice cubes. Add remaining ingredients. Stir, garnish with cucumber slices and serve.

The Centre Court
1 part Ocean Spray Cranberry Classic juice drink
1 part orange juice
chilled ½ part peach schnapps
½ part vodka
2 fresh strawberries
Ice cubes
Method:
Place all ingredients except ice into a blender, adding strawberries to taste. Blend for a few seconds at high speed until smooth. Pour over ice and serve.
Angel Elixir
1 shot Stolichnaya Gala Applik Premium Vodka
½ shot(s) vanilla syrup
3 fresh strawberries
Top with chilled rose champagne
Method:
Muddle the strawberries, vanilla syrup and Stoli Gala Applik together in shaker glass. Shake with ice for 12 seconds, strain into a chilled flute glass and top up with champagne. Garnish with a strawberry.
The Grand Esprit
20ml Grand Marnier
20ml elderflower cordial
140ml parts soda water
Orange and strawberry pieces
Ice cubes
Method:
In a tall glass, pour Grand Marnier, elderflower cordial over ice cubes. Add orange and strawberry pieces. Fill up with soda water.

Strawberry Wimbledon Cocktail
75g hulled strawberries
50ml vodka
30ml bottlegreen strawberry & elderflower cordial
bottlegreen elderflower pressé, chilled
Ice cubes
Method:
Put the fruit into a pyrex jug, and add the vodka and bottlegreen strawberry & elderflower cordial.Using a stick blender, blend until smooth. Pour the blended mixture into a tall glass over two or three ice cubes and then top up with bottlegreen elderflower pressé. If desired add a couple of fresh strawberries to the drink.
