If you pride yourself on keeping up to date with the best the world has to offer in terms of wines, spirits and liqueurs, you’ll definitely want to be at the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC) next week. No invitation? Don’t worry, we have a pair of tickets worth £214 EACH to give away to one lucky reader. Just call it an early Christmas pressie…
In case you don’t know, the IWSC is the premier competition of its kind in the world. Thousands of wines, spirits and liqueurs from 90 countries were submitted for this year’s awards, taking in gin from South Africa, rum from Colombia and home grown liqueurs from Estonia. View the results here:

The winners of our fabulous prize will get a chance to sample the entries which have made it through to the short list. Which is no mean feat. The rigorous two-stage judging system sees over 100 industry experts from the UK to South Africa blind tasting their way through the submissions. And thanks to a very detailed chemical and microbiology analysis, rest assured only the best make the cut. It’s par of the course; this is the international benchmark for quality after all.
