Two days, 30 bars, one cool London location – oh yes, Cocktails in the City is back and after the hideous few months we’ve all been through, boy do we need it.
As per, great drinks from some of the best bars in the capital are guaranteed – where else are you going to find tasty tipples from the likes of Trailer Happiness, Callooh Callay, Nightjar, London Cocktail Club, Heads + Tails and Laki Kane all in one spot? There’s more too, including live music, gorgeous street food, tastings and demos, all in one of the most delightful garden squares in Bloomsbury.
Fun though that all is, this year’s event is more than out-and-out good times. Held in partnership with The Drinks Trust, a charity that works tirelessly to support hospitality workers in times of crisis and inspired by The Community Spirit campaign created by Sly Augustin and Sophie Bratt in the wake of the Grenfell Tower fire in 2017, there’s a warm, fuzzy, feel-good vibe about this year’s event, too. All proceeds from Cocktails in the City: Community Spirit Edition will be donated to The Drinks Trust so they can continue to do their incredible work – which will be needed now, more than ever.
Cocktails in the City: The Community Spirit Edition takes place at Bedford Square Gardens, London WC1B 3ES on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th September.
Tickets cost £15 and include a welcome cocktail, live music and demonstrations. Additional cocktails are priced at £7.50 and all proceeds to go The Drinks Trust. Book here
