On the downside September signals it’s nearly winter (boo!) On the plus-side it means not long to go until London Cocktail Week (hurrah!) And to prime your palate for that there’s Cocktails in the City.
Clear either 18th or 19th September in your diary (better still, go crazy and block out both) for this two-day extravaganza which sees some of the best bars in London paired up with a cool range of drinks brands.
Have a cocktail from the five-star team at The Rivoli Bar at The Ritz courtesy of Beluga Vodka, or taste how they shake things up south-side as the crew at Powder Keg Diplomacy partner up with Whitley Neill Gin. Trailer Happiness will be mixing things up nicely with Lamb’s Navy Rum, London Cocktail Club Shoreditch will be advising on the etiquette of cocktail making according to Gentleman Jack and Rev JW Simpson aim to bring a rosy glow to your cheeks as they teem up with Four Roses Bourbon. In short, you’ll find all styles of bars from any point of London’s compass all under one rather fine 1930s roof.
Also on the menu are free cocktail making classes, one-to-one tuition with industry experts, edible treats in the Sweets and Treats Zone, goodies in the eating department from Bubble Dogs and music and makeovers thrown in just for good measure.
It’s going to be a good ‘un. Make sure you book up now!
Tickets cost £12 and include entry, one cocktail and a cocktail book, all other cocktails, food and private classes extra.
