A sparkling drink to serve under the mistletoe
50ml Beefeater Winter gin
25ml cranberry juice
25ml ginger ale
Glass:
Collins/Highball
Garnish:
Lime squeeze
Method:
Pour gin and cranberry into a glass over ice. Top with ginger ale and garnish with squeeze of lime.
Juniper Eggnog

A wonderful twist on a classic
50ml Beefeater Winter gin
50ml milk
50ml cream
1 egg yolk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 clove
1 pinch ground cinnamon
1 pinch ground nutmeg
Glass:
Cup or tankard
Garnish:
Grating of nutmeg and juniper berry
Method:
*In a saucepan, blend and gently heat milk with cinnamon, cloves and vanilla essence. Keep stirring and remove from heat just before boiling.
* In a bowl, whisk sugar and egg yolk until light and fluffy.
* Slowly add milk mixture in saucepan whilst continuing to whisk.
* Return to heat continuing to stir until it starts to resemble custard. Do not let boil.
* Strain into a jug and allow to cool down in a fridge for an hour or two.
* Stir in the gin and cream and return to the fridge overnight.
* Serve in cups with a grating of nutmeg and juniper berry.
