The brand new season of The Cocktail Lovers podcast is underway. And we’re delighted to have a new regular section showcasing the amazing city and country cocktail guides from Cider Mill Press.
Today, more than ever, there are so many incredible bars to be discovered all around the world. They’re serving great drinks and sharing intriguing stories. Which is why we’ve teamed up with Cider Mill Press to take you a magical cocktail tour, over the coming weeks on The Cocktail Lovers podcast, with their super insightful city and country cocktail guides. Each book in this wide-ranging series shares an insider’s view; taking a look at the history, bars, people, stories and, of course, cocktails from fascinating destinations around the world.
First up, we start from home with London Cocktails: An elegant collection of over 100 recipes from A to Zed by Felipe Schrieberg.

Like all the books in the series it’s a super handy guide whether you’re planning a visit to the city or simply want to discover more about its cocktail history, from the gin craze to the present day.
There are plenty of interviews with some of the city’s key figures such as Agostino Perrone, Master Mixologist at the multi award-winning Connaught Bar and Hacha bar’s founder Deano Moncrieffe. And a focus on some the city’s incredible distilleries.

Front and centre are the great cocktails associated with London and some of the fascinating stories behind them: Hanky Panky, Bramble, Breakfast Martini, Green Park, London Calling, and many more…

Listen to the latest episode of The Cocktail Lovers Podcast and over the coming weeks to hear our personal selection from the city and country cocktail guides from Cider Mill Press, including America, Sydney, Paris, Italy and Mexico City.
