This year is the fifth edition of the Lisbon Bar Show which means there’s a bigger and even better schedule of seminars and workshops than usual. On the stage, Alex Kratena and Simone Caporale will be retelling their adventures in the Amazon jungle, creating tasty cocktails using indigenous ingredients; Roman Foltán and Carla Soares from Atlas Bar in Singapore will be talking about the beauty of a beautiful bar; Dominic Whisson, Juries Kenins and Stefano Filardi will be sharing the American Bar love, and Ian Burrell the Global Rum Ambassador will be giving the low down on his specialist subject, rum.
There’s plenty more too, including talks from Juan Valls on Bacardí Legacy; cocktails and food pairing from Leonel Pereira and Nelson Matos; Naren Young from Cafe Dante will be shining a light on low ABV cocktails while Sullivan Doh and the La Commune crew will give a talk on finding the usp for your business.
In between the chat, there’ll be drinks from over 120 brands with experts on hand to guide on the latest expressions and serves. And each day after the show is over, it’ll be over to Red Frog Speakeasy where great cocktails are always a given. Well worth getting a cheap flight over to Lisbon for we say.
