
It’s been an amazing four days here in Rio. We’ve seen true artistry and witnessed real passion and commitment to the craft of bartending as each participant worked their creativity to the max. Thanks to Diageo and its committment to training, nurturing and bigging up new and existing talents, the future of the cocktail world is looking very bright indeed.
There have been a few tears but thankfully no tantrums as the world’s best bartenders served the toughest customers they’ll probably have to face in their lives. Gaz Regan, Dale DeGroff, Salvatore Calabrese, Peter Dorelli, Hidetsugu Ueno, Daniel Estremadoyro, Steve Olson, Arturo Savage and Aristotelis Papadopoulos put them through their paces and here are the results:
