It’s back and if the rumours are anything to go by, it’s going to be bigger and better than ever. We’re talking Cocktails in the City, five evenings of drinking pleasure dedicated to spirited consumers.
The first in the programme starts on Wednesday 2 May in Manchester, with further shows throughout the year in Leeds (30 May), Bristol (5 September), London (26 September) and Edinburgh (7 November). The locations may be different but the format will be the same: expect a main stage with cocktail-making demonstrations (or pimp up your ticket and go for a one-on-one tutored tasting with the fabulous Liquorists – highly recommended), plus DJs, foodie treats and all manner of pop-up bars. Try cocktails from brands you know and acquaint your palate to a few new ones, either way with tip-top drinks from Gentleman Jack, Sloane’s gin, Belvedere vodka, Ron Zacapa rum, Ketel One vodka and Jose Cuervo tequila, your tastebuds are in for a treat.
